What a Dog Toilet Costs in India

The shelf price is rarely the cost. Here is the arithmetic across a year.

Every indoor dog toilet is either something you throw away, something you wash, or something you replace occasionally. Those three shapes produce very different totals over twelve months, and the one that looks cheapest in a shop is usually the one that costs most by December.

Our prices, plainly

  • Starter Kit, tray and one coir pad: ₹799
  • Replacement pad, small and medium: ₹249
  • Replacement pad, large: ₹349

A pad lasts three to four weeks for most dogs. Nothing is charged when you register interest.

For a medium dog that works out to roughly 15 pads in a year. First year, including the tray you buy once, lands near ₹4,534. Every year after that is near ₹3,735, because the tray stays. Those are estimates from a three and a half week pad life, and a large dog on a heavier cycle will sit above them.

Why the cheap option is usually the expensive one

A disposable pee pad costs very little and is used once. Whatever a single pad costs, multiply it by the number of times your dog goes in a year and compare that to a tray you buy once and a pad you replace monthly. The ordering flips almost immediately, and it flips harder for a Labrador than for a Pomeranian, because a bigger dog goes through disposables faster.

Artificial grass is the opposite shape. One purchase, then no rupees at all, and a weekly scrub in the bathroom for as long as you own it. Whether that is cheap depends on what an hour of your Sunday is worth, and on whether you keep it up, because the moment you stop, the smell arrives and the thing gets replaced anyway.

Costs people forget

Cleaning products. Enzymatic cleaner is the only thing that removes urine odour rather than covering it, and anything that leaks onto a floor needs it. A setup that does not leak avoids the line entirely.

The floor itself. Urine left on marble etches it, and repolishing a patch costs more than a year of pads. This is the reason a raised leak proof edge matters more in Indian homes than the product photos suggest.

Your time. Four walks a day is around ninety minutes. It is not a rupee cost and it is the largest number on this page.

Questions people ask

How much does an indoor dog toilet cost in India?

A coir starter kit is ₹799 once, which includes the tray, and a replacement pad is ₹249 for small and medium or ₹349 for large. A pad lasts three to four weeks for most dogs, so the first year lands near ₹4,534 and later years near ₹3,735, because you keep the tray.

Are pee pads cheaper than a coir pad?

Cheaper to start and dearer to keep. A pee pad is used once and thrown away, so the cost repeats every day rather than every three or four weeks. Over a year the daily item almost always overtakes the one you replace monthly, and the gap widens the bigger the dog.

What is the cheapest dog toilet option in India?

Taking the dog outside costs nothing in rupees and a great deal in time, roughly ninety minutes a day across four trips. Among indoor options, price ordering shifts with the dog's size and how often you replace things, which is what the calculator on this page is for.

Is there a delivery charge?

Ask when we contact you to confirm. Nothing is charged when you register interest, and we confirm everything including delivery before anything ships.

Do I have to buy the tray again?

No. The tray is one time hardware and is built to keep for years. Only the coir pad is replaced, which is why the first year costs more than the ones after it.

Does a bigger dog cost more to run?

Yes, on two counts. A large pad is ₹349 against ₹249, and a larger dog saturates a pad sooner, so replacement comes round more often. Budget nearer the top of the three to four week range for anything over twenty kilos.
