Jaipur to Goa With a Dog
Roughly 1650km by road, which is around 26 hours of driving. Almost nobody does this by car with a dog. Train or plane is the sensible route.
Outbound from Jaipur and the run home from Goa are the same journey described once.
Do not drive this one
About 1650km each way. Unless the driving is the point, take the train, and for Goa that means Madgaon and Thivim are the main stations, both well connected to Mumbai and Bangalore.
Leaving Jaipur
Goa lies due south of Jaipur, roughly 1650km by road. Jaipur departures are quick and the heat is the thing to plan around rather than the traffic. From April the middle of the day is genuinely dangerous for a dog in a car, so the useful driving happens before ten and after five, and the road surface itself holds warmth well into the evening.

Goa in one paragraph
Beaches are the draw and also the risk. Sand gets hot enough to burn paws through the middle of the day, so walk early or after sunset. Sea water is not safe to drink and often causes stomach upset, so carry fresh water. Many shacks are relaxed about dogs on the sand, though this varies by beach and season.

Veterinary access at the far end
Vets in Panaji, Mapusa and Margao, so help is rarely more than 30 to 45 minutes away. Good coverage by Indian travel standards.
Find out where the nearest one is before you need it, and how long the drive takes at night. Emergency vets by city.
Timing it from Jaipur
Very hot and dry in summer, past 45C. Dry heat is slightly kinder than humid heat but heatstroke risk remains high.
Summer heat and Diwali fireworks are the two peaks.
Set that against Goa, where the advice is to go november to february and avoid June to September. The overlap between those two windows is your actual travel season, and it is usually narrower than either one suggests on its own.
Doing this journey with your dog
At around 26 hours of driving this is two days each way, which is the argument for the train. Bring water from home for the first day rather than buying it on the road. A change of water upsets more Indian dogs than a change of food does, and the effect arrives about six hours in, which on a 26 hour drive is the worst possible timing. Two litres in a bottle you already own solves it.
